What to look for in property photos and descriptions

03/31/2026 04:39 AM

Photos and descriptions can help you understand a property’s layout, lighting, finishes, location and features before requesting information or arranging a viewing.

Start with the layout and rooms

Check whether the photos show the living room, bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms, balcony, utility area and shared spaces. If images look repetitive or unclear, ask for more details before proceeding.

Read the description carefully

The description should explain the property type, floor area, bedrooms, address, infrastructure and development stage. It does not replace a viewing or confirmation from the sales team, but it can answer initial questions.

Details worth checking

  • Floor area and room layout.
  • Bedrooms, suites and parking spaces.
  • Natural light, ventilation and unit position.
  • Shared areas and condominium amenities.
  • Address, neighborhood and access to nearby services.

When should you ask for more information?

Ask when photos, address, floor area, availability, price or document details are missing. Better preparation can make the conversation with the sales team more useful.
